Vanguard Academy celebrates National School Librarian Day with gratitude to each of our librarians who spend long hours keeping our libraries organized. They are so dedicated to helping our children find the resources they need to keep learning. Through our librarians, we are able to create an environment that extends learning beyond the classroom walls. Show our librarians some love!

Vanguard Academy recognizes Autism Awareness Day as an opportunity to promote understanding, acceptance, and inclusion. Join us for our Autism Walk on Saturday, April 5 at 8 am at the Pharr Sports Complex in support of our Autism Community. Mozart Elementary is excited about Mrs. Cavazos' 3rd grade class. They have officially PUBLISHED their class project! They are thrilled to announce their partnership with Sgt. Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library in Alamo for World Read Aloud Day. Mrs. Cavazos' class will be launching their book to the community as well as to parents and supporters. They would like to invite our Vanguard community to their special Book Launch Event at Sgt. Fernando De La Rosa Memorial Library on February 5, 2025, starting at 5:00 pm. Mrs. Cavazos hopes to give her newly published authors the recognition they deserve for this huge accomplishment. It will be a great opportunity to shine the light on Mozart Elementary students!
